The CEO of the Giesenkirchen based enterprise Diamant Metallplastic, Achim Schulz, is more and more developing to the in-official India-Ambassador of the German industries. In Januar he will bring a delegation of entrepreneurs, politicians and researchers to India to introduce amongst others a cooperation between the RWTH Aachen and the Indo German Institute of Technologies (IGIT) which he co-founded. This refers to projects to develop 3D-Manufacturing Processes for the production of precision air bearings. High-Tech from the Lower Rhine area, so to say. Also the University of Applied Sciences Lower Rhine Area will be represented with the i-nano-Institute. Diamant itself has been represented since years with a Joint Venture in Bangalore, India. Recently, the Berlin based Society for Technological Cooperation (GTZ) dedicated two pages to Achim Schulz in its journal "PPP-Report", a magazine about private-public-partnerships (PPP). Schulz had introduced at the Technological University of Bangalore (VTU) together with FH Darmstadt a PPP-Project which supports the vocational education and the further education at IGIT. Students and industrial representatives are cooperating to find new solutions for industries.
